The Clay County Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Division supports the state’s first Public-Private Partnership (P3) as the means to building the First Coast Outer Beltway (FCOB). This is an important regional transportation corridor in Northeast Florida,
which will provide increased mobility of people and goods, promote economic prosperity, provide additional hurricane evacuation capacity, and preserve the quality of the natural environment and established communities.
The First Coast Outer Beltway provides critical connectivity of I-10 and I-95 and increases future quality job growth and a greater diversity in the existing tax base.
