The Clay County Chamber of Commerce's Economic Development Division in a strategic partnership with the Development Authority (CCDA) together, make up Clay County's Economic Development Organization (EDO). We work to advance the economy and maintain quality of life for the citizens of Clay County through a coordinated effort of business recruitment and business retention and expansion activities. Our on-going program of work encourages stronger business performance and increased economic opportunities. We actively participate in the regional Cornerstone - marketing partnership that effectively promotes Northeast Florida (Florida's First Coast) on both the national and the global level. (The six counties making up the First Coast partnership are Nassau, Duval, Clay, Baker, Putnam, and St. Johns.) This combination of efforts strengthens Clay County's presence and broadens the scope of our economic development initiatives.
