Clay County is located in Northeast Florida and is a part of the Jacksonville MSA. The county encompasses 601 square miles with the majestic St. Johns River running along its entire eastern border.
Clay County includes four municipalities: Orange Park, Green Cove Springs, Penney Farms and Keystone Heights as well as unincorporated Middleburg. Green Cove Springs is the county seat and is located approximately 26 miles south of Jacksonville, 109 miles north of Orlando and 312 miles southeast of Atlanta.
